Kevin moved around a lot during his childhood, being part of an Air Force family. Once his father retired, they moved to the beautiful state of Kentucky – where he graduated high school and attended college (Go Big Blue!!). He started diving in the summer of 1994. He started as part of his skill development as an operator on the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team (all operators are required to be SCUBA certified). His favorite dive course he has taken so far was the open circuit phase of the Navy’s Basic Underwater Demolitions School (BUDS) in Coronado, California. His diving goals are to continue his role as a divemaster, to be a lifelong learner and teach the skills required to enjoy and perform in this amazing sport. Giving others the opportunity to enjoy another “atmosphere of life” and seeing their faces when it all comes together is his main aspiration in diving.
