Bryan grew up in Westerville, Ohio. He started diving in the summer of 1991, when he was going to school in Florida for Marine Biology. He wanted to study sharks and coral reefs. His favorite courses he has taken are Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures and the Navigation course. His most memorable dive was the Wind Jammer in Bonaire – a shipwreck in warm, deep water. The crow’s nest of the ship sits at 218 feet – and his dive on it was 2.5 hours long with decompression. He aspires to teach his daughters how to dive so he can go on dive trips with his family.
