Gabby grew up in Jackson, Ohio. She grew up snorkeling and swimming in the ocean with her grandfather, which introduced her to her love of the underwater world. She developed a love of the ocean and water, so SCUBA seemed like a natural next step. She finished her Open Water certification in 2017, but did not begin seriously diving until 2019. Her favorite course to date has been the Rescue Diver course with Columbus Scuba because it was challenging and she feels like she learned valuable, lifesaving, rescue techniques. Her diving goals are to successfully complete her Divemaster course, learn to ice dive, and someday become an instructor.
