Mike grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has been a “water rat” his entire life and has been fascinated with diving since a young age. In 1990, his dad got the ball rolling by getting certified himself. Followed by Mike, his 3 brothers and an uncle. His favorite course he has taken so far is the Rescue Diver course. His most memorable dives were on the Duanne & Bibb shipwrecks in the Florida Keys. He plans to surround himself with great divers to better his skills and teaching ability as a divemaster. He plans on becoming an instructor in the future so he can share his passion for diving with others – he would also like to help bring diving to more disabled persons/athletes.
