Shawn grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. Shawn had always wanted to learn how to dive, so when his daughter showed an interest in it, he jumped right in. They were certified together in November of 2013. His favorite course he has taken so far is the Rescue Diver course – but Wreck Diver and Sidemount are close seconds. He aspires to travel and dive more with his daughter, and possibly become a dive instructor once his daughter goes to college.
