Stefan was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but grew up just south of Dayton, Ohio. He started diving in 2016 as part of Ohio State University’s STEP program. He started diving because he loves being in the water and always thought it would be awesome to explore the underwater world. The most memorable dive course he has taken is the Advanced Open Water with Columbus Scuba, because he did his first night dive & experienced his first “light show”. In the future, he would love to learn how to cave dive. He loves exploring new places and cannot imagine what caves have to offer. He would also like to become a dive instructor because he has really enjoyed watching people fall in love with diving while going through his divemaster program, and becoming an instructor is the ultimate road to helping even more people discover how awesome diving can be.
